    Verona Sunrise was founded in 2007 as a breeding station for longhaired whippets. It focuses not only on exhibitions but primarily on he breeding of dogs suitable for active sports such as racing, coursing, agility, etc.

    Longhaired Whippet is a relatively new sighthound breed. The breed is registered in Czech Republic by ČMKU, however it has not been officially recognized by FCI yet.
   In some countries another name Silken Windsprite is used for the breed. Please do not mistake with Silken Windhound which is a different breed.
